First Aid Kits For Your Home, Car and Nappy Bag
All homes and cars should have a suitable up to date first aid kit. Accidents can happen anytime or anywhere and they often occur when you are least prepared. A Nappy Bag is also the ideal place to have an on-the-go first aid kit.
This page includes some examples of the products you should have in your first aid kit. Take this list to your local Pharmacy and ask the staff to provide you with the items to fill your kit. They can even provide you with suitable containers to make your frist aid kit easily identifyable.
Tips
- Make sure all family members and any guests especially baby sitters know where the first aid kit is located.
- Check and update your first aid kit at least every year
- We encourage all adult family members to obtain a current first aid certificate. it could save someones life
- Keep medications in original packaging to decrease the risk of confusion, make dosages easily identifyable and also makes iteasy to check a products expiry date
- Replace a product immediately when you use the last one eg. dressings
- Keep all medications out of reach of children
