Banana Porridge
Shopping List:
- 1 tablespoon organic porridge oats
- 1 tablespoon organic sultanas, washed (only suitable for older babies)
- breastmilk, formula milk or cows milk (use babies usual milk)
- 1/2 ripe banana, mashed
Directions:
- For babies 6-9 months grind oats to a fine meal using a clean coffee grinder or pestle & mortar. Older babies can eat oats straight from the pack.
- Put oats or oatmeal and sultanas in a saucepan with 3 tablespoons of babies usual milk.
- Gently bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer until cooked, stiring occassionally.
- Mixed mashed banana into the cooked porridge.
- Serve immediately!
