Sweet Potato & Apple Puree

Shopping List:

  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 1 large apple

Directions:

  1. Chop up sweet potato into small cubes
  2. Put in saucepan and boil until soft
  3. Core apples and chop into small cubes
  4. Put into separate saucepan and boil until soft
  5. Separately, puree both the apple and sweet potato
  6. Add 1 tablespoon of pureed apple to every 2 tablespoons of pureed sweet potato
  7. Allow to cool and serve
  8. Remaining mixture can be frozen in ice-cube trays or other containers for subsequent meals
