Boiled Chocolate Cake

Shopping List:

  • 1 cup of water 
  • 1.5 cups of sugar
  • 4 ozs butter
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp bicarb soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 cups Self Raising Flour

Method:

  1. Preheat Oven to 160 degrees
  2. Place above ingredients (except eggs and flour) into a saucepan over low heat and bring to the boil 
  3. Cool and add well beaten eggs and sifted flour 
  4. Cook in oven for 35 minutes
  5. Serve with a yummy chocolate icing
