Chocolate Brownies

Grandma K’s Family Recipe

Ingredients

125g butter chopped
200g dark eating chocolate
¾ cup of castor sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs beaten
1 cup of plain flour

Directions

Preheat Oven to 180 Degrees Stir butter and chocolate in a medium heatproof bowl over saucepan of simmering water Remove from heat Stir in sugar and vanilla essence Add beaten eggs and flour and mix Pour into a 19cm square cake pan lined with baking paper Bake for 30 minutes until firm. Cool in pan  

SOUR CREAM FROSTING
Melt 100g of dark eating chocolate with ¼ cup of sour cream. Spread over brownies.


Fairy Bread

Ingredients

Half a loaf of bread Margarine Hundreds and Thousands

Directions

Spread bread on one side with margarine.
Sprinkle hundreds and thousands over bread.
Cut into quarters and place on plate.


Mars Bar Slice

Ingredients

3x 65g Mars Bars, chopped
90g of butter
3 cups of rice bubbles
Half a cup of cooking or chopped mashmallows

Directions

Melt butter and Mars bars together.
Stir in rice bubbles and marshmallows.
Put into a lined baking tray, flattening mixture.
Cool in refrigerator.

ICING
200g of nestle milk chocolate buds.
30g of butter.

Melt milk chocolate and butter, pour over as icing.


Meringues

Nanny Gimsons Family Recipe

Ingredients

4 Egg Whites
1 cup of castor sugar
Vanilla Essence (a few drops)

Directions

Preheat Oven to 140 Degrees.
Beat Egg Whites with a master mix until they form soft peaks.
Gradually add sugar until you get stiff white peaks.
Add vanilla essence and mix through.
Place one spoonful at a time on a lined baking tray.
Cook in oven for 45 minutes.
Turn oven off and leave meringues in oven for a further fifteen minutes before removing.


White Chocoloate Crackles

Ingredients

1 cup of rice bubbles
1 cup of coco pops
2x 35g tubes mini m&m’s
1 cup of white chocolate melts - melted

Directions

Line 24 mini muffin pans.
Combine ingredients in a bowl and divide mixture into pans, refrigerate for ten minutes.
